Obituary of Lois Vera Macfarlane Lois Vera (Nee: Madge) Macfarlane Entered into her eternal rest on Monday, November 5, 2018, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Hall Macfarlane. Loving mother of Ken and his wife Mary of Keene, Ruth and her husband Pierre Doig of Morrison. Dearly cherished grandma of Colin (Lindsay), Christopher (Katie) and Justin (Rebecca). Born on June 5, 1930 in Fenella, ON. Lois was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Dorothy Madge. Predeceased by dearest sister Valerie (Delkie) Chiesa, brothers Anthony (Margaret) and Kenneth Madge. Treasured sister-in-law to Neil and Eileen Macfarlane of London, Mary Jackson (late Alex) of Bailieboro, and late Ruth and Bill Jackman of Cobleskill, NY. Lois loved to bring neighbours and friends together to celebrate life’s milestones, gathering at the family farm at Mather’s Corners. Lifetime member of Keene United Church and former Keene Women’s Institute. Friends may call at Keene United Church, 30 North Street (corner of Second and North Street), Keene, on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Keene United Church Friday November 9, 2018 at11 a.m. Interment Upper Keene Cemetery.
