Obituary of Joanne Sweeting Sweeting, Joanne (Loretta) Nee: Sheehan: Passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday February 6th, 2019 at PRHC in her 87th year. Wife of the late Victor Lloyd Sweeting for 28 years. Beloved mother to Mark (Jean) Sweeting, Kevin (Laurie) Sweeting, Kelly (Doug) Sweeting and Marnie (Steve) Ayotte. Loving grandmother of Melissa, Matthew, Robin, Kristin, Alison, Steven, Madeline and Tyson. Great grandmother of Addison and Nora, Callum and Brenna. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Anastasia Sheehan and brothers George and Ambrose. Survived by her brother Paul (Anne) and sister-in-law Betty. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews and her best friends Winnie and Joan. A special thank you to Dr. Sara Belanger and staff and Dr. Beamish and the palliative care staff. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church 859 Barnardo Avenue, Peterborough on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
