Obituary of Margaret Amelia Brereton BRERETON, Margaret Amelia (nee Grice, formerly Denike) – Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre with her family at her side. Margaret of Peterborough, formerly ofWarkworthin her 92ndyear. Beloved wife of the late Howard Denike (1984) and Sam Brereton (2001). Loving mother ofDorellaVan Die (Andy), Rick Denike (Judy) and Suzanne Windeler. Dear grandmother of Stephen Van Die (Renessa), Kim Render (Wes), Rick Denike (Lindsay), Danielle Denike (James), Renee Eade (Chris), Brad Denike (Iman), Vaughn Windeler (Paige) and Sabrina Zaffino (Matt). Proud great grandmother of Austin, Bay, Claire,Cameron,Londyn,Myelle,Irelynn, Max, Charlie, Patrick, Brandon and Hailey. Sister of Gwen Bebee (late Rod) and the late Marie, Aileen “Tot”, Ione, Maude, Audrey, Edward, Doris and Jacky. Margaret will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Special thanks for the excellent care and compassion at St. John’s Centre and Palliative Care Unit at PRHC. Visiting will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, on Wednesday, October 24 from 10-11 am with a funeral service to follow at 11 am. Interment will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Campbellford at 3 pm. Anyone is welcome to attend. Donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
