Obituary of Margaret Dixon DIXON, D. Margaret "Marg" - Peacefully, with her family at her side, on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at Centennial Place, Millbrook. Margaret, formerly of Peterborough and Collingwood, in her 95th year. Beloved mother of Diane Ware (Robert) and Patricia Paquette (late Merrill). Cherished grandmother of Yvonne Brown (partner Bryan Hughes). Great grandmother of Matthew Brown (Crystal) and Jeremy Brown. Sister of the late Dorothy, Herbert and Gordon Dixon. Daughter of the late Allan and Maude Dixon (nee Godden). Margaret will be remembered and was loved by nephews Allan and Robert Dixon and many other relatives and friends. Margaret loved music and was an accomplished accordion player. A founding director of Activity Haven, Peterborough. A longtime member of Trinity United Church, where she was involved in the choir and the United Church Women (UCW). Friends and relatives are invited to visit at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Saturday, June 18 from 5-8 pm and on Sunday June 19 from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel on Sunday at 2:30 pm.
