Obituary of Margaret Elaine Goody GOODY, Margaret Elaine (Knight) “Peg”- Passed away peacefully, at Springdale Country Manor, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Peg of Peterborough, originally of Cobourg was in her 88th year. Peg, dearly beloved wife of the late Don for over 60 years. Loving mother of Karen Collins (Brian), Steven, Sharon MacGillivray (Mac), and Maureen Marshall (Scott). Beloved Grandma of Sandra (Mark), Jennifer (Darrell), Angela (Andrew), Peter (Carley), Erin (Lance), Michael, Matthew (Shelby), Holly (Chris), Brett (Jess), Lauren (Jason), Mark and Jonathan (Mary). Great grandmother of Ethan, Kaelan, Alaina, Ashton, Parker, Chase, Nash, Violet, Indie, Lily, Landen, Isaac and Kingston. Dear sister of Roy Knight (Evelyn Shantz) of Kitchener and the late Neil Knight. She will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Retired Medical Secretary who worked for Drs. Nawaz, Lawrence, and Holmes, all in Peterborough. A wonderful mother, known for her sewing and baking. Peg was a long-time and active member of Northminster United Church and enjoyed being involved with the UCW and Presbytery. After her children, Peg’s second love was her cats, and she had many of them over the years. Friends may call at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Monday, November 11, from 6-8 p.m. and at Northminster United Church, 300 Sunset Blvd. on Tuesday, November 12 from 10-11 a.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m. Lunch will be provided after the service.
