Obituary of Margaret Mae Olley Passed away peacefully at Centennial Place, Millbrook on Tuesday January 8th, 2019 in her 96thyear. Beloved wife of the late Ian Olley (d.1995). Loving mother of Vanessa, and Adrian (Cathy McIlquham). Born in Dunstable, England Margaret and Ian immigrated to Canada in 1949. They made many friends & memories, and touched the lives of many during their time in Toronto, Ontario; Bridgewater, Nova Scotia; and Newboro, Ontario. Mom was passionate about yarns and textiles and was a renowned hand weaver and fibre artist. Her talent, experience, and knowledge were recognized at the highest levels. She will also be fondly remembered for her strong and lifelong enjoyment of classical music. Survived by her only sister Yvonne Wooster, of Dunstable England, and lovingly remembered byBarb & Dougand the McIlquham Family. A visitation will be held at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral service in the Legacy Room at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the spring.
