Obituary of Margarett Noreen Dowling DOWLING, Margarett N. – Born 22nd August, 1933 – Marg left us today, 20th June, 2017. She is survived by Chris, her husband of sixty plus years, and children Cheryl and Greg (Julie), and special "adopted daughter" Laura and sister Jean Brown of Stratford ON. Marg was the ninth of ten siblings. She was predeceased by Norman, Jack, Vernon, Gladys, June, Honey, Gordon and Ross. Her father was Harry Turkington/Tarkington, her mother Jessie Gordon/Whyte. Marg will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and closest friends Bev and Marion Northey. Marg was retired from Quaker Oats, where she started working on the Muffet line in 1951. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #52 Ladies Auxiliary. Cremation has taken place and as per her wishes, a celebration of her life will be held at Branch #52, 1550 Lansdowne Street West, on her birthday, Tuesday, August 22, 2017, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. The family would like to thank the PSWs and Nurses and especially Dr.'s Ron VanHoof and Michael Gibson for their support at this trying time.
