Obituary of Anita Black BLACK, Anita M (nee Blondin) – Passed away suddenly, at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, with her family by her side, on Friday, December 6, 2019. Anita of Oshawa, formerly of Brighton and Scarborough, was 79 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Black for 47 years. Loving mother of Debbie (Alan Goodhall), Dan Black (Diana), Kathy Mayo and Ken Black (Heather). Dear grandmother of Mandy (Neil), Hailey, Hanna, Jennifer (Nick), Bryan (Julie), Stephanie (Jason) and Sammy (Blaine). Proud great-grandmother of Nathan, Morgan, Brett, Holly, Keegan, Ninya, Riley, Avery, Jake, Ethan and Alyssa. Dear sister of the late Terri Blondin, Cecile Bilodeau, Annette Croteau and Rick Blondin. She will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Anita enjoyed taking long country drives with Lorne. She loved going to Bingo or the Casino. She loved shopping and returning. Visiting and having fun with her grandkids was her favorite thing to do, followed closely by playing scratch and win tickets while enjoying an Iced Capp. Cremation entrusted to Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre.
