Obituary of Marigold King KING, Marigold Robena (Elmhirst) - Retired Registered Nurse, 1951 Graduate of Peterborough Civic School of Nursing. Her career included work at Toronto General Hospital, St. Vincent Hospital, (B.C), and Burnaby General (Extended Care). Peacefully, with her family at her side, on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Marigold of Princess Gardens, Peterborough, in her 86th year. Loving mother of Robert, Roderick and Randel. Dear grandmother of Justin and Curtis. Beloved sister of Arthur Elmhirst of Peterborough, Madeline Kraus (late Roger) of Texas, and the late Philip Elmhirst (late Shirley Hope) formerly of Otonabee Township. Daughter of the late Stuart and Phyllis Elmhirst. Loving aunt of Cindy Mancebo, David Kraus, Jennifer Kraus Corker, Lori Moloney, Adele Pearson, Maureen O'Brien, Roger Elmhirst and Jeff Elmhirst. Marigold will also be remembered by her special friends, Dorothy and Joe Leguire of Winnipeg, and many other friends in Ontario and B.C. A private family service was held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road. Interment at Fife Cemetery, Indian River.
