Obituary of Mary Brown Brown, Mary Carmel (member of the C.W.L.) Suddenly at her residence on Sunday December 25, 2011. Carmel (Leahy) of Peterborough in her 90th year. Wife of the late Joe Brown. Dear mother of Jim Brown of Montreal, Walter Brown (Kathy), Mary Ellen (Derrick George) and Margaret Ann Brown all of Peterborough. Loving grandmother of Zoe, Riel, Jamie Lee, Lisa, Mike, Rachel, Lauren, Jessica, Mike and great grandmother to four great grandchildren. Sister of Marie (Moe Rivard) of Markham and the late Marcelle Rowe and Vince Leahy. Sister-in-law of the late Fergus O'Connor and David Rowe. Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter Street West (at the bridge), Peterborough from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday. Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held from the Cathedral of St. Peter-In-Chains, 411 Reid Street, Peterborough, on Friday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Douro.
