Obituary of Mary-Louise Richmond RICHMOND, Mary-Louise (nee Heath) From Toronto, passed away on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 at Extendicare Lakefield with her family at her side. Mary-Lou was 91 and leaves behind her children: Leigh-Anne, Victoria, Stephanie, and Grant (Charlene), as well as her grandchildren, Jay Devonish, Chloe Charles, Zoe Edwards, and Kelly and Carter Richmond. Predeceased by her sisterPatriciaKnight in 2013, Mary-Lou will also be dearly missed by hernieceand nephew, Marianne Shibata and Tom Knight.Mary-Lou was a wonderful, courageous woman who raised her children on her own throughout the '60's and '70's. She adored young people, music, playing the piano, dancing, horseback riding, dogs, cats, reading, living barefoot at Anstruther Lake, driving boats and cars, and diving off of docks. Family was all-important to "Lou". Throughout their lives, Mary-Lou and her sister Pat co-hosted countless family gatherings, creatingwarmextended family that now share a wealth of happy memories. Mary-Lou will forever be in the hearts and minds of the many wholovedher. The family extend sincere thanks to the staff at Extendicare Lakefield for their kind, respectful support. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Dying With Dignity Canada. As per Mary-Lou's wishes, there will be a private family interment at the Mount HopeCemetery, Toronto, followed by a Celebration of Life on Monday, October 22nd, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at The Toronto Cricket Club - 141 Wilson Avenue, Toronto, ON M5M 3A3. .
