Obituary of Mearle Alice Richardson RICHARDSON, Mearle Alice: (Member of Mark Street United Church, Lakefield Curling Club and the Peterborough Lawn Bowling Club) At Peterborough Extendicare on Sunday September 9th 2018. Mearle (nee. Bateman) of Peterborough and formerly of Lakefield in her 92nd year. Wife of the departed Ed Richardson of 57 years. Loving mother of Brock (Brenda) of Delta B.C., Ted (Vi) of Lakefield and Karen Kavanaugh (late Art) of Peterborough. Loving Grandmother of Kristin (Kevin Roberts), Aaron (Candice), Chris (Leah), Mark Richardson and Great-Grandmother to Nola and Georgia, Keaghan, Pauline, Colin Roberts, Connor, and Taylor Richardson. Predeceased by her siblings Ruby (Ralph) Johnson of Warkworth, Gerald (Doreen) Bateman, Marion (Harold) Morton, and Evelyn (Don) Richardson. Visitation will be held in the Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the service. A Memorial Service to celebrate Mearle’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday September 14th 2018, at Ashburnham Funeral Home (840 Armour Road, Peterborough) with a reception to follow.
