Obituary of Michael John Spencer Michael John Spencer Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday July 28th, 2019, at the age of 76. Devoted and loving husband of Eva (d.2014). Amazing Dad to Geraldine (Dave), and Michelle (Jim). Best Papa ever to Michael (Marie), Meghann (Jonathan), Brock (Erin), and Morley (Tara). Most amusing Great-Papa to Owen, Avery, and Christian. Michael is survived by his sisters Evelyn (late Bill), Rita (Mike), brother-in-law Ken, and sister-in-law Jean. Predeceased by his parents William and Florence; sisters Theresa (Steve), Marie (Don), Marcella (Jimmy), and Pearl; brothers Pat (Edna), Art, Pete (Marion). Gary (Sharon), Donny (Clela), Willie and Tommy. Mike will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thank you for all of your support and dedication goes out to Dr. MacMillan, Julie Airth Carrick, Dr. Whiting, Dr. Conlin, Dr.Wilson, Dr. Stelzer, and Dr. Thompson, as well as his entire oncology team at Princess Margaret. A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Saturday August 10th, 2019 from 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM at the Lakefield Legion (10 Nicholls Street, Lakefield).
