Obituary of Patrick Wilkes WILKES: Patrick Joseph Peacefully, at home, surrounded by family and friends after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, November 9, 2013, in his 67th year. Predeceased by his parents, Carl and Elizabeth Wilkes and his in-laws, Fred and Julia Volk. Patrick was loved and adored by Karen, his wife of 28 wonderful years. He was loved and will be missed by his two amazing children, Heather and Ryan. Loving brother of Carl (Sandra), Brian (Lynn), and Theresa (John), and brother-in-law of Larry (Liz), Eugene (Krys), Patricia (Ron) and Evelyn (Richard). Also remembered by many loving nieces and nephews. Patrick will be dearly missed by Art and Ruth Dwyer, his friends for over 50 years, his extended family, Judy and John Lau, and three awesome grandchildren, Jessica, Jayden and Jaxton (J5). Patrick will also be remembered by many other friends and neighbours, including his loyal dog 'Sasha'. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting will be held at COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, ASHBURNHAM CHAPEL, 840 Armour Rd, Peterborough, on Wednesday, November 13, from 7-9 pm and on Thursday, November 14, from 10-11 am, with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 am.
