Obituary of Raymond Michael Ayotte Ayotte, Raymond Michael, retired Auto Refinisher, cofounder of Douro Doings Labour Day Car Show and charter member of the Country Cruisers’ Antique Car Club passed away on August 27th, 2018 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 81st year. Loving husband of Lucille Dwyer for 59 years. Dear father of Gary and his wife Diane Edgar, Debbie, Denise and her husband Rob Herron. Proud grandfather of Katie Ayotte and her husband Sam Kong, Paul Ayotte and Harry Herron. Great grandpa of Lucy, Theo and Bryce Kong. Predeceased by his parents Harry Ayotte and Catherine Casey of Douro, his sisters and brothers Eileen Wray (Gord), Marjorie Cain (Harold), Harold, Teresa, Marie Hoey (Basil) and Frank as well as his in-laws Jean Moloney (Victor) and Bernard Dwyer. Survived by sisters-in-law Thalia Ayotte, Veronica Dwyer and Margaret Dwyer. Ray will always be remembered by his nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Bill Moloney at Church of the Immaculate Conception, 386 Rogers Street, Peterborough on Thursday, August 30th at 11:00 am. Visitation one hour prior. Reception to follow in the church hall. Internment at a later date at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Douro. Thank you to the GAIN clinic, B6 and Palliative Care at the PRHC for their support.
