Obituary of Raymond John Conners CONNERS, Raymond John - Just shy of his 77th birthday, passed away on September 2, 2019. Born and raised in Bridgenorth, Ontario to Almer and Isabella (nee Leckie) Conners, on September 22, 1942. Loving father of Jeff (Jenn), Scott (Kathy) and Barb (Adam). Dear step-father of Greg, Todd and Tommy Post. Proud grandfather of Skye, Alexis, Dawson, Jodi and Ella. Cherished Uncle of Leanne, Dianna and David. Caring brother of Lynda (Bill) Edmonson. Ray was very proud of all of his family and they will all miss him greatly. Although he loved baseball, beer and BS, Raymond was known in wider circles for his kindness and generosity, his helping hand and hidden heart. A special thanks to his friends, especially John and Kay Adams. Thank you to the amazing staff at the PRHC – Palliative Care and Hospice Peterborough for taking such great care of the man we loved for the last days of his life, we will be forever grateful. Cremation is entrusted to Ashburnham Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. If desired donations may be made to Peterborough Hospice in memory of Ray.
