Obituary of Richard Loyer LOYER, Richard Allan - Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care, on Sunday, November 17, 2013, in his 78th year. Beloved partner and soul mate of Maggie for 37 years. Loving father of Vickey Siddle (Clifford) and Rickey Loyer. Dear step-father to Michael Swan (Laurie), David Swan, Janice Swan (Paul) and the late Jimmy Swan (surviving wife Brenda). Dear Grandpa of Jonathan and Jessica Siddle, Jason, Joshua and Zachery Loyer and eleven step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many dear friends. Brother of the late Gordon and Leonard Loyer. Retired owner of Catalina Bay Resort, Buckhorn, and previous employee of Southam Murray Printing. Rick was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion. A car enthusiast who could fix or repair anything, and was often called upon to do so.
