Obituary of Robert Jones JONES, Robert James "Bob" - It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Bob at PRHC, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in his 75th year. Loving husband of his childhood sweetheart Marilyn (Hewitt) for 54 years. Great Dad to Christopher of Mission BC, and Kirk, Dean (Kim), and Darren (Lisa) all of Peterborough. Beloved Poppa of Carly, John, Kyle, Grant, Jade, Brett, Josh, Brittany, Brittany and Brodie. Great-grandfather of his little darling Piper. Devoted son of the late Wilfrid Jones Sr. and Stella (nee Sheridan). Loving brother of Rosemary Merret (Bob) of Sherwood Park AB, Clem Jones (late Lorraine) of The Pas MB, Bryan Jones (late Brenda) of Peterborough, Anne Weishar (John) of Burlington, and the late Wilfred Jones Jr., Elsie Watson, Richard Jones, Eric Jones, and Hazel Spencley. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired from GE Canada after an enjoyable 38 year career. Former Buckhorn Old Timers Hockey Club player, proudly guarding the blue line, wearing #10. Bob enjoyed long distance running and all outdoor activities. A member of the River Rat Canoe Club.
