Obituary of Roger Twomey TWOMEY, Roger Vincent - Retired Major from the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment and Owner of Voicenet Interactive Inc. Peacefully, with his family at his side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015,after a courageous battle with cancer in his 59th year. Roger, beloved husband of Angela for 37 years. Loving father of Adam, John, Matthew (Kristina) and Jacqueline. Dear Grandpa of Sophie and Charles. Son of the late Bert and Elaine Twomey. Son-in-law of Margaret Tomlinson and the late Stan. Brother of Robert (Bernice), Walter (Sheryl), Barry, Ronald (Judy), Colleen Trim, Mark, Bert (Andrea), Joanne Richard (Dennis) and Harold. Brother-in-law of Gail Twomey, James Tomlinson (Ava), Joe Tomlinson (Ruwa), Richard Tomlinson and Lucinda Heron (Mike). Roger will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, including the many people in his business family and military family. Roger leaves behind his many friends from hockey and soccer in Peterborough and Ennismore. Visitation will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, on Friday, November 13th from 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 386 Rogers St., Peterborough, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the Combined Senior Ranks Mess, Peterborough Armoury, 220 Murray Street.
