Obituary of Russell Dishington DISHINGTON, Russell “Russ” – Passed away peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Monday, February 24, 2020. Russ of Trent River, formerly of Scarborough and Edinburgh Scotland, was 73 years of age. Survived by wife Elsbeth and son’s Kyle and Mark. Brother of Marilyn, Robert, Sheila and Alastair. Russ was passionate about fishing and loved being at his cottage on Trent River, or out in his boat. Past President of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #617 and a long-time volunteer with Community Living. He will be missed by many. A memorial reception will be held at Havelock United Church (10 Ontario Street, Havelock), Saturday March 7th from 1 to 3pm.
