Obituary of Ruth Isabella Fulcher Ruth Isabella Fulcher (November 27, 1921 – June 15, 2019) Peacefully in her 98thyear at Extendicare Peterborough. Loved and sadly missed by her daughter Val Roberts (Ron), and grandchildren Christine (Carlos), Dawn and Douglas. Ruth was predeceased by her siblings Jule, Watt, Verd, Alice, Pat, Margaret, Thurza and Faye. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a social, fun-loving lady who loved to dance,play cards, sew, knit and read. Ruth spent several winters in Florida and happily drove her standard shift car until she was 87. She ran the L.A.W.S. Thrift Store for many years where she enjoyed interacting with the customers. Ruth also spent many happy hours on the dock and in the water at Clear Lake, enjoying swims up to the age of 91. A heartfelt thanks to Extendicare Peterborough & staff of Orchid Trail for their genuine care and compassion. A Special thank you to Sandra for her kindness. As per Ruth’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at a later date.
