Obituary of Ruth Marion White WHITE, Ruth Marion (Salisbury) – Passed away peacefully at Elmwood Place, London, ON, on Thursday August 24, 2017. Ruth of London, formerly of Peterborough, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert White. Daughter of the late Edith (nee Ramsden) and Arthur Salisbury. Loving mother of Christine White (Chris Ellis), Paul Clarke-White (late Roselyn) and Philip White (April). Dear grandmother of Vanessa (Stacy Maskell), Caelen and Rowan. Sister of Ken Salisbury and the late Irene Viele, Bill Salisbury, Verna Bryant, Rita Bryant and Bernice Flannigan. Ruth will be remembered by many friends in the Peterborough Theatre Guild, The Golden Tones Choir, The Ada Lee Gospel Choir and the Kawartha Artists Guild. A memorial reception will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Sunday, September 3, from 2-5 pm, with words of remembrance at 3 pm.
