Obituary of Samuel John Ferguson FERGUSON, John S. “Fergie” – Passed away peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, with his family at his side, on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. John of Peterborough, formerly of Lake St. Peter, in his 69th year. Beloved son of Aileen Flynn and the late Vern Ferguson. Loving father of Krista Gawyuk (Chris White) and John Ferguson. Dear Grandpa of Madison, Logan, Kali and Jordan. Brother of Sharon Dupuis (Chuck Brown). John will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Retired from Ventra Plastics, where John enjoyed the friendship of many co-workers. John enjoyed snowmobiling in winter and four-wheeling in the summer. He was happiest when at the family cottage on Lake St. Peter, socializing with family and friends. Visiting will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Tuesday, January 31, from 10 am-12 noon, and from 3 pm -5 pm with a funeral service to follow in the chapel on Tuesday at 5 pm.
