Obituary of Shirley May Simard Shirley May Simard (Nee: Kenyon) Passed away peacefully at PRHC on August 10, 2018 on her 85th birthday. She will be dearly missed by Earl Simard, her beloved husband of 65 years, her loving children Kenyon (Carol), Leonard (Teri-Ann), Roy (Roxanne) and Lee-Anne, her grandchildren Jana (Brad), Jacqueline (Sean), Christopher, Jamie (Matt), David (Emily), Bryan, Kelley, Kelly, Melanie (Rick). Loving great grandmother to Bailey, Cole and soon to be baby girl. Loving great great grandmother to Ava, Ryan and soon to be baby boy. She will be missed by her brother Barry (Darlene) Kenyon. Predeceased by parents Ernest and Myrtle Kenyon. Shirley was a dance instructor who studied ballet, tap and jazz in London, England. She had her own studio in Sudbury, Ontario where she taught many students. She enjoyed listening to Earl play the piano and often danced with him. A service to Celebrate Shirley's Life will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, 99 Brock Street Peterborough on September 6 at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson's Society.
