Obituary of Stewart Meyers MEYERS, Stewart James (Retired from G.M of Canada after over 40 years of service) - Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday March 25, 2012. Stew Meyers of Peterborough in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Barbara (Johnston). Dear father of Robert of Alberta and Susan of Marysville, Ontario. Step-father to Lynda (Bryan Holbrook), Don Scriver, Barb (Steve Nicholls) all of Peterborough and Ken Scriver (Barrie)of Nova Scotia. Loving grandfather of seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Brother of Keith (Barb) of Schomberg, Norma (the late Bill Gorrill), Diane (Bud McKinnon) all of Lindsay and the late Lorne Meyers. Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter St. W., from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday. A memorial service to celebrate Stew's life will be held in the Communtiy Alternative Chapel on Friday March 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, condolences to the family, directions to the service or donations to the P.R.H.C.
