Obituary of Teena Druce Teena (nee Schoon) Druce Passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday April 27th, 2019 in her 68th year. Teena was the loving wife of Robert “Bob” Druce. Mother of her daughter Jennifer (Derek) Tovich, step-daughter Kim (Phil) Fenton, and step-son Rob (Pam) Druce. Grandmother of Lauryn, Bryce, and Step-Grandmother of Sarah, and Brandon (Brittany). She is survived by her siblings Joyce (Peter) McBride, Jack (Cathi) Schoon, Dick (Kim) Schoon, Alice (the late Matt) Holleman, and Peter (Susan) Schoon. Predeceased by her parents John and Jenny Schoon. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Teena worked at Extendicare for 27 years as a supervisor and health care aide. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, baking, and dancing. A visitation will be held at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Thursday May 2nd, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday May 3rd, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society- Peterborough, World Vision, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or Salvation Army- Peterborough.
