Obituary of Thomas James Smith Thomas James Smith died August 7, 2018. He was born in Toronto, 1955 to the late Shirley Sherman Smith (died 1998) and Thomas George Smith, of Willow Bend Marina, Peterborough. He leaves behind his father Tom, nieces Erin and Hailey, and their children Cassius, Jovie, Colton and Ella. Tom Jr. lived in London, ON after graduating from Western University. He will be remembered for his love of literature and lifelong study of Philosophy. The family wish to thank Sharon, Ali, Amanda and all the staff at the Palliative care Unit for their kind care. At Thomas’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Ashburnham Funeral Home 705-740-0444.
