Obituary of Thomas Weaver WEAVER, Thomas Wayne - (Served with the Royal Canadian Navy as a seaman aboard the HMCS Huron from 1960 - 1963) Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Saturday December 12, 2009. Wayne Weaver of Cavan in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Evelyn (Hajnik). Dear father of Susan (Troy Beckingham) of Maple Ridge, B.C. and Wendy (Mark Orlowski) of Oakville. Loving grandfather of Tessa and Corey. Brother of Pat Dodd of Peterborough and Karen Weaver (Leo Levesque) of Omemee. Wayne will also be missed by his faithful dog "Toughie". Friends will be received at the Peterborough Naval Association, 24 Whitlaw St., on Wednesday December 16, 2009 from 1: 00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service to celebrate Wayne's life in the Admiralty Hall at 2:00 p.m. Please join the family immediately following the service for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
