Wayne Francis Craig

Obituary of Wayne Francis Craig Wayne passed away at dawn on Monday, April 16th, 2018 in his 68th year. He is now at peace having battled prostate cancer twice since 2008. There will be a private service planned at a later date. Son of Kenneth and Estelle Craig(nee Schumacher), he was born and raised in Newmarket, ON. He was brother and middle child to two sisters and their families: Shirley (Guelph, ON) and Cathie (Drumhead, NS). Loved father of Jennifer, Christine and Stephanie(Rob). Happy Grandfather to Nic, Spencer, Kaylyn, Cruz and Dominic. Proud Great Grandpa to Annabell. Wayne had many friends, neighbours, customers and friendly faces in a few places over the years. He enjoyed many adventures and relaxing times with his dear friends. He found a little piece of paradise at White Lake near Douro-Dummer, ON and enjoyed it's fun, peacefulness, view and community of people for approx the last 15 years. He had a great love of the outdoors and Sunday (or any day) drives to find wildlife, enjoy scenery or go touring were his favorite hobby. These were 'endured' by his girls growing up and cherished times once they were adults. He will be greatly missed. ******** Donations can be made to either of the following, or to send an ecard, please do so at jenncraig11@gmail.com Canadian Wildlife Federation: https://secure2.convio.net/cwf/site/SPageNavigator/donate.html?s_locale=en_CA or Peterborough Regional Health Centre: https://secure2.convio.net/prhcf/site/Donation2;jsessionid=00000000.app212a?1400.donation=landing&df_id=1400&NONCE_TOKEN=03526F25961FB6C28A46F9668053D181 The Palliative Care Unit was very supportive to Wayne and his family during his multiple stays there.
