Obituary of William Dasko William "Bill"Dasko On Friday, August 24, 2018 in Peterborough, Ontario, William Dasko passed away, in his 98th year. He was born September 4, 1920 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. William is survived by daughters Sen. Donna Dasko and Tricia Dasko (Howard Halagaza), grandchildren Marion and William Dasko Adams, sister-in-law Violet Kerde and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Helen, parents Pearl and John Datsko, sister Anne Rivers and brothers Michael Dacko and Peter Dasko. William retired from Dominion Malting Co. in 1985. Many thanks to Dr. A. Silverberg and the staff at St. Joseph's at Fleming Long Term Care for their kindness, patience and care during William's last years. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 45 years, he enjoyed sharing with others the Bible's promise of how God's Kingdom will soon bring peaceful and paradise conditions to the earth, when God will 'wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away'. Rev 21:4 Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2137 Davis Road, Peterborough, on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
