Obituary of William OSBORNE OSBORNE: William Carl Elridge Peacefully, on Monday, November 5, 2007 after a lengthy illness. Born May 16th, 1927 in St. Kitts, West Indies, where he was raised, Carl lived in Birmingham, England in the 1950's and ?60's. Son of the late Loucretia Osborne and Lloyd McLachlan, brother of Doris Revan, Audley McLachlan, half brother John Matthews, and the late Donald McLachlan and Montclair McLachlan. Dear husband of the late Iris Elaine Osborne (Nee: Bridgewater). Loving father of Carole, Jasmine, and Patricia. Beloved Grampees of Astra, Benjamin, and Katie. Great grandfather of Ashton and Samara. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. William was retired from Peterborough Civic Hospital where he worked as an Orderly, then as a Pharmacist Assistant for over 20 years. He also worked for Extendicare part time. He was a regular and active member of Peterborough Seventh Day Adventist Church. A funeral service will be held at PETERBOROUGH SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, 649 Romaine Street, Peterborough (East of Monaghan Road) on Sunday, November 11th, 2007 at 12 Noon. Visitation 2 hours prior to service.
