Obituary of William Donald Powell Powell, William Donald "Don": After a brief illness on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Beloved husband of 38 years to Roxine (nee DeCarlo). Loving and proud father of Amanda (Derek Webster), Elliott (Chelsea), Jordan and William. Proud Grandpa of Harrison, Calvin and Ruby. Don is survived by his siblings, Sandra Powell and Susan (Rick Pound) as well as many extended family and a host of friends, especially Georgia, Boots and Paul the pooch. Don loved being on a golf course, skiing at the Elbow and in the mountains, riding his motorcycle, playing pool travelling the world and of course enjoying good coffee wine or beer. We know he’s doing all these things now too. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ashburnham Funeral on Saturday, November 4 from 1 – 4 pm. with words of remembrance at 1:30pm. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family would like to extend their thanks to the medical and nursing staff of PRHC ICU unit.
