Obituary of William Speirs SPEIRS: William James - 30 year veteran of the Peterborough Fire Department On Thursday, November 13, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill, former husband and still friend of Mary. Dear father of David, Grant, Theresa (Keith) Young, and Angie (Garth) Allen. Beloved Grandpa of Matthew, Trevor, Stacey, Haley, William and Ernestine. Dear brother of the late Gerald (Phyllis). Bill will be sadly missed by his nephews Les, Steven, and Kenny. A private family service will be held followed by interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
