Amelia (Skinner) of Peterborough, formerly of Scarborough in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Scott for 42 years. Dear mother of David Scott (Margaret) of Port Hope, John Scott (Lorell) of Peterborough and Wayne Scott (Leslie Queen) of Surrey, B.C. Loving grandmother of Crystal Scott, Melanie Scott (Brian Harness), Adam Scott (Jessica Easton), Matthew Scott and great grandmother to Bradley and Ashley. Sister of Allen Skinner of Toronto, Howard Skinner (Ruth) of Huntsville, Jean Crisp of Norland, Harold Skinner (Betty) of Aurora and the late Clarence Skinner, Marjorie Lee and Wilda Tanner. Sister-in-law to Art Tanner of Lindsay and the late Evelyn Skinner, George Crisp, Edna Skinner and Adrian Lee. Amelia will also be missed by several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours in Scarborough. Friends will be received at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. A funeral service will be held in the Ashburnham Chapel on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the Legacy Room. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery at a later date.
