SLIWINSKI: Mr. Bernd G.

At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, January 17, 2009. Bernd, dearly beloved husband of Pat and loving father of Jonathon of Peterborough, Sharon (Lisa) of Toronto, and Peter of Ottawa. Dear brother-in-law of Leslie Henson of Illinois, U.S.A. Bernd will be fondly remembered by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Bernd was a Chartered Accountant in Peterborough for 36 years, an avid basketball player and golfer. He will be sadly missed by the guys in the Sunday morning Old-Timers league and especially by his golfing buddies, Jack, Brian, John, Martin and Glen. Family and friends may call at COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter Street West (at the Bridge), Peterborough for a Memorial Visitation to be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, January 22.
