<p>SEABROOK, Carolyn Joan </p><p>Entered into peaceful rest at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, with her boys at her side, on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Carol Seabrook of Lakefield in her 62nd year after a courageous 2nd battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Bob and Betty Seabrook. Dear mother of Rob Morton (Heather) and Chris Morton, of Lakefield. Beloved grandmother of Hannah and Ava. Sister of Betty Ann. The family thanks the dedicated staff at P.R.H.C. for their excellent and sympathetic care. Carol was a dedicated employee at Edwards in Owen Sound for 15 years. Since moving to Lakefield she enjoyed volunteering at the library. Carol appreciated the simple things in life; a good coffee, a book or crossword, her cats, visits with loved ones. She lives on in the lives she touched and in the love she shared. We love you Mom, now and forever, more than ever. A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter St. W., Peterborough on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior. If desired, condolences to the family and donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Victoria Quilts Fund or to the Lakefield Public Library may be made at www.CommunityAlternative.ca or by calling Community Alternative Funeral Home at 705-742-1875. </p><p><br></p>
