<p>DOWDALL, Cynthia Elsie – (War Bride), Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday January 20, 2012 with her family by her side. Cynthia (Edwards) of Peterborough in her 88th year. Wife of the late John Dowdall. Dear mother of Wendy (Peter Lasch) of Fowlers Corners, Colleen (Bill Flynn) of Collingwood, Lynn Shaw and John Dowdall (April) all of Peterborough. Loving Nana to P.J. Lasch, Greg and Erin Flynn, Candace, Cassie and Sammi Shaw. Sister of Wendy (Bill Bott) of Peterborough and the late Pamela Hawara. Aunt Cynthia will also be missed by Bill Jr. and Susan Bott. Friends will be received at the Kawartha Shrine Club, 1757 Sherbrooke Street West, on Wednesday January 25, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A Memorial Service to celebrate Cynthia’s life will be held at the Shrine Club at 12 noon followed by a reception.
