<p>SEARS, Donald George (Formerly of Orillia) </p><p>Born October 18, 1944, passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Don, of Hall`s Glen was in his 68th year. Loving husband of the late Mavis Fitzgerald for 18 years. Proud father of Kara Sears (Craig Thompson) of Orillia, and Trish (Frank Parcells) of Warsaw. Loving grandfather Mykaela, Wyatt, Jaratt, Marek, Jorjah, Jessica, Rebecca and Alex. Dear brother to Robert (Marina) of Woodstock, NB, David (Betty) of Lakefield, Brian (Gizele) and sister in law Patty all of Orillia. Former husband of Donna Naughton. Predeceased by brother Gary and parents Harvie and Laurine. Don will be missed by many extended family members, friends and above all special friend Boo. Don was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with grandson Alex, and collecting rocks with daughter Kara. Don loved spending time with and helping out his neighbors in Hall`s Glen. A celebration of his life will be held in Orillia on Sunday, July 15, 2012 form 12- 3 p.m. at the Portage Bistro in the Best Western Couchiching Inn, 440 Couchiching Point Rd, Orillia. Don’s daughter Kara would like you to come with stories of Don.
