<p>PAMMETT, Dorothy ‘June’ (Portsmith) – Peacefully, at home, surrounded by her four loving sons, after a courageous battle, on Sunday, January 25, 2015. June Pammett of Peterborough in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Pammett. Dear mother of Tom (Bonnie) of Peterborough, Dan (Terri) of Norwood, Mike (Krista) of Peterborough, Jeff (Karen) of Peterborough, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Eaton of Peterborough. Loving grandmother of Jason (Tracey), Jeremy, Stephanie, Sarah (Peter High), Angela, Katie, James, Megan, Cynthia, Austin and great grandmother of Meagan and Benjamin. Sister of Howard Portsmith, Ruby Caron, predeceased by seven others. June will be remembered by all her card-playing friends. An independent woman, who could put her mind to it and achieve anything. A jack-of-all-trades who became proficient in ceramics, painting, gardening, house decorating, flooring, and too many other skills to mention. A private family service was held, with a celebration of June's life will be held at the Activity Haven Senior Centre, 180 Barnardo Avenue, on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 1-4 pm..
