KNIGHTS, Douglas, Robert – Peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, with his family and friends at his side, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Douglas of Peterborough, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Donna Knights (Graves) for over 50 years. Loving father of Della Fletcher (Joe) of Peterborough and David Knights (Debbi) of Kingston. Dear Poppa of Mitchell and Jaime. Brother of Marilyn Cowan, Carol Gorrill (Vic) and the late Bill Knights. Douglas will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Retired from G.M. Oshawa, after 33 years of service. Douglas was an avid reader, who loved to keep up with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Blue Jays and his grandkids’ teams. A public celebration of Life will be held at the Air Force Club, 274 King Street, Peterborough, on Saturday, November 14, from 1 – 4 pm.
