GLOVER, Edward McNaughton “Mac”

With courage, faith and dignity, Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 at Extendicare Peterborough, in his 80th year. Born December 17, 1928 in North Bay, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee: Provost). Forever in the hearts of his children Diane (David) Richardson of Peterborough, Maxine Cooke of Airdrie, Alberta, Douglas (Ginny) of Tara, Ont., James of Powell River, BC, Carol (Greg) Nault of Port Coquitlam, BC, Dan (Paula) of Powell River, BC, Terry (Janet) Taylor of Tilbury, Ont. and the late David and Dawn, and Donna Marie. Beloved Grandfather of 21: Walter (Elizabeth), Stephen (Erin), and Katie (Jonathan) Pitchlynn, Chad and Michelle Karacsonyi, Carol-Marie (Shawn) Martin, Bob (Sarah), and Kyle (Michelle) Glover, April Singleton, Jim, Alicia Glover and Amber McCarthy, Erica Nault, Derek and Carly Glover, Lori (Perry) Magnason, Shari Lepine, Gil Lepine, Robert (Debbie), and Chris Taylor, and Jennifer (Mike) Couture. Also greatly missed by his 24 great-grandchildren across Canada. Sadly missed by his brother James Nisbet of Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Predeceased by parents Robert Nisbet and Ellen Kinneborough and siblings Ellen, Thelma, Willow, Duncan, Adam Murray, and Robert Dryden. Visitation will be held Friday November 14th, 2008 from 7-9 pm, and Saturday November 15th, 2008 from 1-2 pm at Immanuel Alliance Church, 1600 Sherbrooke St. W, Peterborough. There will be a celebration of Mac’s life on Saturday, November 15th, 2008 at 2 pm following the visitation. Flowers may be delivered to the church. If desired donations may be made to the Gideons or the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada. The family extends heartfelt appreciation to Drs D.R. Spink, J. Gillis-Doyle, G. Hanson; to the Renal Clinic and Palliative Care (PRHC); and especially to Extendicare Peterborough staff and residents. We thank each one who cared for Dad with particular mention of Doris, Rachel, Shelley, Linda, Dawn, Judy, Helen and Kendra. Dad loved you very much.
