<p>SMITH, Ewen Macpherson – Peacefully, at Campbellford Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, August 28, 2014, in his 83rd year. Ewen was the beloved husband of the late Jean (MacMillan) for 50 years. Loving father of Kathy Thompson (George), Lauchlin Smith (Sonia) and Les Smith (Leonor). Dear grandfather of Patrick, Emma and Ericka. Brother of Robert and Gordon Smith, Elizabeth Andrews, Joyce Peach, Helen Peach, and the late Mary Peach and Ivan Smith. Ewen will be remembered by many other relatives and friends in Cape Breton and Ontario. A private family service will be held at St. John’s United Church Cemetery in Port Morien N.S. at a later date.
