<p>MAXFIELD, Gordon – (WWII RAF Veteran), of Peterborough, peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming on November 5, 2014 in his 91st year. Gordon, loving and devoted husband to Rosemary. Dear father of Kim (Carolyn) Maxfield of Burlington and Mike (Moira) of Thunder Bay. Loving granddad to Eric (Lucy), Paul, Heather and David Maxfield, and great granddad to Lauren Maxfield. Gordon was an avid outdoorsman loving sailing, x-country skiing, canoeing, camping, hiking and more. Gordon was a proud WWII RAF Veteran, scout leader, pilot, and loved photography and life itself. Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
