<p>BEESTON: Helen Margaret – C.W.A.C. WWII Veteran stationed in Shilo, Manitoba, and Staff Sergeant with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires. </p><p>Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, June 5, 2008 in her 82nd year. Helen, dearly beloved wife of Alf and loving mother of Tom (Nancy) and Dave (Victoria), and step mother of Debbie Hook (Chris) and Shirley Bell-Watson (Jim). Beloved grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Rose Dion, Bernice Grozelle, Joanne Wickman, Ted Joyce, Tom Joyce, and the late Eleanor Littler, and Lorne Joyce. A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be held at the Peterborough Naval Association Admiralty Hall, 24 Whitlaw Street (North side of Lansdowne at River Road) on Thursday, July 3rd from 1 - 3 p.m. If desired, condolences to the family, directions to the celebration, and donations to the charity of your choice may be made at www.CommunityAlternative,ca or by calling COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME at 705-742-1875.
