Suddenly at her residence on Thursday April 30, 2009. Janet (Lowes) of Peterborough in her 48th year. Ten year employee of Victoria Manor, Lindsay. Beloved wife of Gordon. Dear mother of Erica and Candace of Lindsay. Cherished “gramma Janet” to Jessica. Beloved daughter of Joan and Merrill Lowes of Peterborough. Dear sister of Doug Lowes (Brenda) of Omemee, Tammy Lowes (Ron Amos) of Peterborough. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Gordon’s family – mother Gertrude, father Richard (predeceased), sisters Elsie, Linda, Sandra, Sybil, Beulah, brothers David, Lorne, Gerry, Wayne and Dean. Predeceased by sisters Carol and Loretta and brother Carl. Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter Street West (at the Bridge), Peterborough, from 7-9 p.m. Monday. A funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Omemee on Tuesday May 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.
