From this life you did not pass on,

Without first fully passing through.

A father, grandpa, husband, friend,

We remember this of you.

You believed in a loving God,

In his fairness and justice for all

And God knows you very well

Your own victories and your falls.

You were full of humour, helpfulness and generosity

One of many roots, though strong and distinct

Which began and remains, our Family Tree.
