<p>THOMSON: Judith Elaine</p><p>At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre- Palliative Care Unit on Friday, July 31st, 2009, after a very courageous battle with cancer in her 62nd year. Judy, dearly beloved and devoted daughter of Leona (nee Fife) and the late Wm. Thomson (d. 1991). Cherished sister and best friend of Linda Juby (Art) and Melva Thomson of Peterborough. A very special aunt to her only neice Stephanie McMillan (Kurt) and a great aunt to Taylor, Carter, and Cohen McMillan. Judy was a long time and dedicated employee of P.R.H.C., and an active and supportive member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church. Judy enjoyed golf and curling with friends and was a true sport and excellent team player. She will be sadly missed by her family, relatives, and many friends. Anyone that knew Judy loved her. She was a truly kind and giving person, always there for anyone who needed support, a kind word, or a big hug. A more faithful friend one could never find. A private family inurnment service will be held at Fife’s Cemetery. If desired, condolences to the family, and donations to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society or the charity of your choice may be made at www.CommunityAlternative.ca or by calling COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME at 742-1875. Special thank you to Drs. Ragaz and Spink, and the D2 Palliative Staff. There will never be a day we will not think of our Judy.</p><p><br></p>
