<p>TAYLOR, Kenneth George “Quiet Ken” – Peacefully, at Strathaven Nursing Home, Bowmanville, on Thursday, October 1, 2015. Ken of Oshawa, who summered in Peterborough, in his 57th year. He was loved, and will be remembered by brothers and a sister, many friends and fellow street people in Oshawa and Peterborough. Ken was a featured subject in the 2012 film “Street Life” by neophyte film maker Victoria Scholes. Ken chose the “rough” life he led, and taught many novice folk how to survive away from the system. In this regard, he was a teacher and coach. A casual memorial service will be held at the old bench site, by the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce building, (the Old Railwoad Station) 175 George Street North, on Sunday, November 15, at 1 pm.
