HENRY: Lilian Stewart (Nee: Cherry)

At Fairhaven Home on Thursday, January 12, 2012, in her 80th year. Lilian (Nee: Cherry), devoted and beloved wife for 60 years of Thomas. Loving and supportive mother of Thomas Jr. (Charlotte) of Dallas, Texas; Eileen (Edmond) Nadler of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Margaret Marchen (James Hutchinson). Loving Nana of Veronica, Lauren, Rachel, Adina, Logan, Landon, Ben, Emma, and the late Connor. Sister of Dr. William (Helen) Cherry of England, and Margaret (Doug) Laurence of Australia. Lilian was a strong, gentle and compassionate woman who always considered the needs of others. Even during forty years of great personal adversity, she conducted herself with great dignity and graciousness. The family will be forever grateful to the staff of Fairhaven for their kind, compassionate, and respectful care to Lilian over the past 12 years. A Celebration of Lilian’s Life will be held at The Great Room, Fairhaven Home, 881 Dutton Road, Peterborough, on Monday, January 16th from 2 – 4 p.m. All are welcome.
