Died peacefully in her sleep at Centennial Place, Millbrook, on Sunday, January 1, 2012, in her 92nd year. Born in Berneray, North Uist, Scotland and lovingly in Canada since 1948. Predeceased by her husband Murdo Angus (d. 1982). Loving mother of Anne (Dave) Drysdale of Ajax, Norm (Nedra) Macdonald of R.R. #2 Keene, and Chirsty Maggie (Jimmy) Macleod of Nethy Bridge, Scotland. Dear grandmother of Heather (Jeff), Sean (Lindsay), Courtney (Brendan), Jamie (Amy), Mike (Krista), Morag (Andrew), Catriona (Ginger), Fiona (Steve), and James (Katy). Great grandmother of 13 and Great great grandmother of 1. Survived by her older sister Annie MacQuarrie and younger brother Norman (Margaret) Macleod, both of Portree, Isle of Skye, Scotland. Predeceased by brothers Allistar, Lachie, and Johnny. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Scotland as well as all who knew her. A finer cook and loving woman will never be seen again. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Centennial Place for their excellent, passionate care.
